MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIP FOR MINORITIES 2017
Merit cum Means Scholarship for Minorities 2017 is organized by Government of India. It invites application from professional or technical students of minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians). The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students to continue their studies. The selected students will receive course fee and maintenance allowance.
MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIP FOR MINORITIES 2017 - ELIGIBILITY
- Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical or professional courses are eligible for this scholarship
- Students who have secured not less than 50% marks at higher secondary or graduation level
- The annual income should be less than INR 2.50 lakh (income certificate would remain valid for 1-year)
- The students should belong to the minority community (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians/Parsis)
